Conservas ZALLO, since its beginning in 1926, has been dedicated to the handmade manufacturing of White Tuna and Cantabrian Anchovies, salted Cantabrian Anchovies and also filleted Cantabrian Anchovies. Nowadays, the company extends its range of products to satisfy current market demands: Yellowfin Tuna cans (specially the Yellowfin Tuna belly), Whited Anchovies, Mussels, Sardines, Horse Mackarel, Needlefish and Makarel, delights for the most sybarites. Founded in 1969 and located in the town
of Vinaròs in the Castellón region of Spain,
the firm started out as an anchovy producer.
The company extended its range in 1985,
with the production of 100% Mediterranean
canned sardines. Later, in 2005, the manufacturing of semi-preserved products was
expanded with the introduction of white anchovies in vinegar, a product that today is
the clear leader on the Spanish market.
